MANHATTAN - Kansas State University will host its Sheep and Goat Conference May 2-4 in Weber Hall on the Manhattan campus. The conference begins on Friday, May 2 with registration at 11 a.m. and the program starting at 1 p.m.

Olsburg, KS Ranch Tour to Highlight Low Stress Livestock Handling

McPHERSON, KS - Three Olsburg, KS ranches will highlight working facilities that utilize low stress methods to quietly and effectively process cattle, sheep and goats on May 3, 2014. The tour will begin with registration at 9:30 AM at the Edwards Ranch, 15225 Dry Creek Road, 2.4 miles west of Olsburg and 2.9 south on Dry Creek Road. The working facility designed by Bill, which he can operate alone, will be demonstrated at 10 a.m.

The Blue Sky Miniature Horse Farm is holding a special Ag-Tourism event on Sunday May 4, 2014, from 1 to 4 p.m. This  is our “Day on the Farm” for tours, cart rides, presentations and programs about the training, feeding and showing of Class A miniature horses.
