JUNCTION CITY - The Kansas Department of Commerce will host the Rural Opportunities Conference from April 25-26 in Junction City. The Rural Opportunities Conference will highlight rural business and community development topics.
Sessions will include:
• Energizing civic engagement through leadership
• Strategic planning – not how, why?
• Agriculture, new market opportunities
• The next generation of rural Kansans: succession planning
• Addressing rural poverty
